CHICAGO - Illinois' attorney general is suing the nation's biggest mortgage lender.
The lawsuit against Countrywide Financial Corp. was filed in Cook County on Wednesday. That's the same day shareholders from the California-based company are set to vote on a takeover by Bank of America.
